It’s that time of the year where the anticipation of green leaves, green plants and green grass drives us crazy. Every time it rains during my work day, I find myself driving home with excitement to see the progress of our grass turning from brown to green.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the best yard on the block. Our back yard is covered by a giant oak tree and a horrible looking type of evergreen that sheds its’ needles constantly. This leaves our yard in ruins and really makes my skin crawl. I’m finding that I have an obsession with picking up all the stuff that falls on the yard. Damn trees.
So, here’s to daydreaming of clean, healthy green grass and hoping that some day, my yard will be the best on the block.
